Corrine Rapley lived in the picturesque and rugged Pilbara for 15 years before relocating to
Bouvard south of Mandurah in 2010. The scenic waters and vegetation of the Peel Harvey
Estuary are a constant source of inspiration.
A deep appreciation of nature, colour, light play and emotional sensations surfacing from
experiencing these environments, continually motivate her to recreate the same sentiment for
Working in Acrylics, Oils, Collage, Pastels, Ink and Mixed Media, from her home studio,
Corrine is a member of the Mandurah Plein Air Artists Inc., the Still life and Portrait Group
of Mandurah, and is a founding member of the Vivid Art Collective Artist Group in
Corrine was Artist in Residence at Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah (CASM) in 2015,
culminating in her successful solo exhibition ‘Whispers on the Wind and Water ‘also at
CASM in 2016.
She recently participated as a member in the Mandurah Plein Air Artists Inc. group exhibition
at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre and in the Mandjar Art Awards.
In the 2017 Stretch Art Trail Corrine’s work was displayed at Jacksons Drawing Supplies, the
Mandurah Library and is recurrently displayed at The Atrium Hotel, Mandurah.
